Just think that for every Re 1 note govt is wasting 35 paise and for Rs. 500 note, Govt is wasting Rs 40 in its printing and there are huge counterfeit notes circulating in the economy. Notes get soiled quickly and the cost of transportation etc is very heavy.
Cost of implementation cashless is so less & perfect foolproof technology is available that Govt. can easily afford to implement & in fact can earn additional revenue from this system.
Banks should compete among themselves for encouraging cashless transactions among customers. This will help curb circulation of black money, as our prime minister Mr. Modi said.
This will replace physical cash in the form of electronic cash which is stored in Electronic cash card. This card will store all the record from whom the amount is received & to whom the amount is paid additionally all the information will be stored in centralized server.
